Joe Freund

My name is Sasha Viney and I moved to San Francisco from Sydney, Australia in 2015. I chose this amazing city for it's culture, diversity and vibrant energy. I have over 15 years of customer service experience and felt it was a great step moving into my role as Risk Manager for Joe's team as I love interacting with people and making sure all their needs are met.

One of my passions has always been to help people. I have worked in Customer Service for over ten years, which, fortunately, even led me to travel the globe for work. Settling back to San Francisco, I was searching for a job that allowed me to continue to assist people. I have definitely found that working for Joe, this team truly cares about ensuring the customers' needs are always fulfilled.

Since 2005, I have had the pleasure of working with some pretty fantastic California State Farm Agents and their Team members, more specifically here in San Francisco since 2007. As we navigated through a recession and a pandemic together, I can't think of a more solid company to represent than State Farm. Helping people understand how we are able to help protect their assets, their future and their families has been extremely rewarding.

I’m a San Francisco native and I have 14 years of property and casualty insurance experience with State Farm. My passion for helping people navigate through their insurance needs has grown over the years, and I’m committed to providing great service to our valued customers. Beyond the insurance world, I have a range of interests that keep me energized and engaged. In my downtime, you can often find my wife and me trail running, watching movies, attending concerts, and cheering for our favorite Bay Area sports teams. My curious mind also enjoys solving complex Rubik’s Cube-type puzzles, which offer a great mental challenge, but also give me a feeling of relaxation and calmness.

Born and raised right here in the Bay Area. I've worked in the insurance industry for over 20 years, the last few years being with Joe's agency. I take pride in assisting State Farm customers with their insurance needs. In my spare time, I enjoy partaking in the many things the Bay Area has to offer with my husband and daughter.

I was born and raised in Northern California but have spent my adult life living all over the West Coast. My professional life has primarily been focused on operations management and HR. I assist Joe and the team with anything they need, and I love doing it! I'm so thankful to be part of such a kind, empathetic group of people!

In my free time I love hanging out with my rescue dog, Kai, reading, and hiking around the Pacific Northwest! I am happy to assist you with anything you need or guide you to the right person who can help!
